Our story

What it’s actually like to rent here

My wife and I signed a lease at The Beverly at One Scottsdale (7395 E Legacy Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85255) in February 2026. We rent one of the most expensive units on the property: our base rent is $6,435 a month, and our October 2026 statement came to $7,034.49. For what we pay, we expected responsive maintenance, clear communication and well-kept common areas. That isn’t what we got.

I built this site because I want people searching for The Beverly Scottsdale reviews, The Beverly One Scottsdale complaints or resident experiences to be able to find a detailed, firsthand account before they sign a lease. My Google review of the property has not stayed up, so I’m publishing it here, where it will.

The problems

What went wrong, in short

There’s also a question about which company is on our lease and which one collects the rent.

It’s not just us

Other residents report the same problems

The Beverly shows 4.9 stars on Google but 3.1 on Yelp. On Yelp, other residents and renters describe promised concessions and refunds that never came, maintenance and build-quality problems, unanswered emails, and noise. Read what they report →

Short version: an extended water leak, lengthy and unpredictable repairs, parts of our home unusable for months, a promised concession that never arrived, trash odors, and a garage gate that’s often down. Read the full review →
